WHO WE ARE
OUR FOUNDER
Catherine Burr is a Biomedical + Mechanical Engineering graduate from Colorado State University. She pitched the idea for Step Up Prosthetics for her senior year and since then has founded our nonprofit organization and advised subsequent Senior Design teams.

YEAR 1
The goals of the first year team were to develop the design and manufacturing process for the insert, and perform preliminary testing to show that the design was viable, as well as begin work on the business development.
