Clinics identify their most commonly needed foot sizes and then can purchase a custom Step Up Prosthetics Kit in order to receive the 3D printed components for manufacturing prosthetic feet. The Step Up Prosthetics team also helps clinics locally source additional material needed for manufacturing. This model helps reduce the overall cost of the shipped kit and therefore helps increase the accessibility of the technology for the people who need it most. Clinics go on to manufacture the prosthetic feet on a need-by-need basis and have the options for additional customization to best match the amputee. Once made, the foot can be given to amputees, providing them a durable, low-cost, and dynamic prosthetic foot.
